Make a list of those places and take that with you as you shop for that perfect cruise for you and your extra special honey-bun. Taking a pleasure voyage through sites that will make an imprint on your mind and memory is an essential part of the trip. Try and find a cruise will take you to the places that matter the most to you so that you can walk away knowing that you had the best experience possible.

How about stopping port in Venice and taking an evening with someone special on a Gondola ride down the historical watered streets. This amazing experience will take your breath away at the beauty of this old town as you appreciate the architecture, the food, and the culture that surrounds you. Stopping to walk the streets and to feel the foreign experience of watching how other people live, eating new kinds of cuisine, and appreciating the country that you are in is an invigorating experience that will actually leave a positive affect of your life as you look back on this amazing experience that you’ve had.

Next up on your list is the beautiful country of Ireland. These magnificent seaport towns will leave you gasping for breath as the stunning countryside blinds you with all the magnificent greenery and blue skies. Even the cloudy days are breath taking as rays of the sun work their way through and stream through the sky and hit parts of the landscape creating a perfectly set portrait representing everything that is beautiful. If the countryside is not enough to satisfy your wants, then the people and their fantastic traditions will have their way with your heart. The sounds of the traditional Irish music and the ancient folk dances will entertain you for hours and hours. Dining on corned beef and potatoes will become an eating experience that you have never had before. It was never such a great thing to eat corned beef until a feisty Irish woman cooked it for you special. There is something about sailing around this beautiful country with the sound of the fife in the wind that makes you feel oddly at home again. There is a familiarity in the tone and way of life that people walk away wondering when they had lived there themselves.

Another great place to make sure and stop at is the most Northern Parts of Egypt. Stopping to see the Great Pyramids and to ponder at the wondrous nature of such an architectural feat. The history and drama that accompany such an undertaking amplifies the importance the Pharaoh was to his people. Afterwards, stopping to ponder in front of the Sphinx will allow you a moment to think about a culture so completely different then anything you have ever experienced will leave you a broader thinker and a more experienced person. Taking a boat ride on the Red Sea for anyone who has any experience with the Bible knows that this would be an experience not to miss. Riding the waters that were once parted by the great prophet Moses of the Old Testament will leave a profound effect on Jew and Gentile alike.
There are so many places that can be visited on a European cruise that is becomes incredibly difficult to choose. You just may find that you need to take a few trips to hit most of the places that you would really like to see. Happy sailing!
